Step into a specially designed thermal immersion suit and let yourself float effortlessly on the fjord. Using the natural currents of the sea, you will gently drift through the waters, allowing the fjord to carry you as you take in the spectacular Arctic surroundings.
Surrounded by snow-covered mountains and the vast Arctic landscape, you can relax on the water and embrace the stillness of nature. Feel the gentle movement of the currents, listen to the water and enjoy a unique connection with the Arctic environment.
With the necessary equipment provided and guidance from our experienced team, you can simply relax and let the natural rhythm of the sea guide your journey through the fjord.
From Shore to Fjord
Your adventure begins with an introduction to the activity and the equipment. Our team will help you get ready before you head out onto the fjord by boat.
The floating experience takes place around Lenangsstraumen, in the beautiful Lyngen Alps. Once on the water, you will enter the fjord wearing your thermal immersion suit and let the natural sea currents carry you gently through the water.
As you drift along, you can admire the surrounding mountains, coastline and open horizons from a completely different perspective. It is an unusual and memorable way to experience the Arctic wilderness.
Daytime Serenity or Arctic Evening
Experience the fjords in daylight, when the surrounding mountains and coastline reveal their impressive details, or choose an evening departure during the Northern Lights season.
On suitable evenings, the Northern Lights may appear above the fjord, adding another dimension to this peaceful Arctic adventure. As this natural phenomenon depends on weather and solar activity, sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Whether you experience the fjord beneath the winter daylight or under the colours of the Arctic night, floating offers a moment to slow down and appreciate the beauty of Northern Norway.

Experience: Arctic floating using a thermal immersion suit

AGE RESTRICTION: This tour does not accept passengers under 10 years old.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: Good physical condition is needed to participate in the activities
